Denis joined DIRC in September 2000 as a Research Associate. He obtained his PhD in Psychology in December 1999 from the University of Provence, Aix-en-Provence, France. His research topic was on human error in troubleshooting.
Denis is one of the DIRC staff whose background is not in computing science. As a Research Associate, his skills serve in investigating human-machine interaction in the control of dynamic, computer-based critical systems.
